Paperwork that keeps pace with the job

The modules came out of EV charging, solar, battery and heat pump installs; a general electrical job uses the same ones. Each set is country-specific: the UK today, the US and other English-speaking countries next. The EIC comes from the test results typed in on site; when the customer signs, the certificate and the claim are ready to go.

An Electrical Installation Certificate in Onroute, issued, with every section complete

The UK set, built into the job

Pick the job type, low-carbon or plain electrical, and everything that job needs is already on it, in the order you'd do it anyway. Each module is a country's rules written into a form: what photos and test results it needs, what comes out, and where it goes.

Photos and results once. Every form draws on them.

Your engineer takes the photos and types in the test results once. The EIC, the grant claim and the handover pack are filled in from them, the DNO notification from the survey. Nothing is photographed twice. If a result is missing, the engineer hears about it on site, not from an auditor weeks later.

Test results typed into the EIC in the Onroute engineer app
Job photos in the Onroute engineer app

      Features

      • Each step lists its photos and results before the engineer sets off
      • Test results typed once and carried onto every form that needs them
      • Results checked as they're typed, gaps flagged before the engineer leaves
      • A job can't be closed with a certificate missing

Sent off and chased until it's accepted

Printing the certificate is the easy part. Onroute sends the DNO notification from the job. You can see where it's got to: with the DNO, approved, or needing more information. Building control is notified through your scheme once the job is done. If the DNO is slow, Onroute chases.
