Rewires, boards and fit-outs, certified as you leave site

Onroute is field service management for any electrical job — domestic rewires, consumer unit changes, commercial fit-outs and landlord work. Quotes, the diary, your engineers and the invoices in one place, with the EIC and the building control notification done as part of the job.

The jobs list in Onroute, filtered to general electrical work

The certificate and the notification happen in that order

Pick the electrical job type and the modules are already on the job, in the order the work happens. Test results go in on site, the certificate is signed there, and the notification follows once the job completes.

  1. Test results typed in on site

  2. EIC signed on the engineer's phone

  3. Building control notified through your scheme

  4. Certificate and handover pack to the customer

Part P gives you 30 days from completion to notify. Coming soon: Onroute Intelligence counts that deadline down on the job, so it is not the thing nobody remembered.

Electrical Installation Certificates

Test results typed in on site, the EIC signed on the engineer's phone and emailed to the customer before the van moves.

  • Building control notification
  • Scheme records
  • Handover pack
  • Photo evidence on every job
  • EICR

The electrical paperwork, on the job

The certificates, notifications and evidence an electrical job carries — filled in while the engineer is still on site.

Building control notification

Part P notified through your own NICEIC or NAPIT scheme account within the 30 days, with the reference filed on the job.

Scheme records

Qualifications with their issue and expiry dates, your scheme accounts and operative IDs, and the job records an assessor asks to see.

Handover pack

The signed certificate, the photos and the documents in one pack, and your customer can open it whenever they need it.

Photo evidence on every job

Photos filed against the job with the notes and signatures. Taken offline, they sync when the phone finds signal.

EICR

Coming soon

On the way: the condition report as its own module on the job, alongside the EIC and the building control notification.

From enquiry to certificate without typing it twice

Your customer photographs the board and the work from the portal, so a small job needs no survey visit. The quote comes off your own price list. The date offered already fits an engineer's run. The EIC and the Part P notification are done from the job, and the invoice goes to Xero.

Work that arrives as a list, not as one enquiry

Agents and main contractors send you spreadsheets. Import them as jobs with a dry run first, price them from a package on the key account, and share the ones you subcontract with a partner firm. Every job keeps its own audit trail, and the reports come out as CSV.

The customers list in Onroute

Features

  • Job sharing with partner firms and subcontractors
  • Key accounts with their own packages and price lists
  • Bulk import with a dry run before anything is created
  • Audit trail and status history on every job
  • Reports as CSV, filtered exactly as you see them on screen
  • Scheduling by trade and qualification, so only eligible engineers are offered

Enquiry to handover, hands mostly off

The enquiry lands

From your website, an agent or a phone call — it becomes a job with an address, a customer and a short code.

Priced from your own list

A quote from your price list or a package for that account, with the kit list for the job on it.

Booked into a sensible day

Trade and qualification decide who is eligible; travel, working hours and approved leave decide when.

Certified as you finish

EIC signed on site, building control notified through your scheme, the invoice out to Xero.

Questions installers ask

Can the engineer sign the EIC on their phone?

Yes. The test results are typed in on site, the certificate is signed on the engineer's phone and emailed to the customer. It stays on the job with the photos and notes.

Does Onroute notify building control for me?

Part P is notified through your own NICEIC or NAPIT scheme account once the job completes. The reference is filed on the job. Counting down the 30 days on the job is coming soon.

Do you handle EICRs?

Not yet — the EICR is catalogued as a module and is on the way. Today Onroute covers the EIC, the building control notification, the handover pack and the photo evidence.

Does the app work without a signal?

Yes. The field app works offline. Photos, forms and signatures are captured on site and sync once the phone finds signal again, so nothing waits for a good postcode.

We're on Simpro, Jobber or a spreadsheet. How do we move?

Bring your jobs and customers in by CSV, with a dry run before anything is created. Job types, statuses, price lists and templates are set up to match how you work now.
